How it works
The four review buttons
When you reveal a card you rate how it went. Your answer determines when the card comes back.
Buttons
| Button | Meaning | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| Again | Blank — couldn't recall it | Card goes back to the learning steps, back in 1 minute |
| Hard | Got it but with real effort | Interval grows a little (always at least a day); ease drops a little |
| Good | Recalled it correctly | Normal interval growth based on your ease factor |
| Easy | Instant, effortless recall | Bigger jump; ease factor increases |
Tip
Be honest. Marking Hard as Good feels faster but weakens the long-term schedule. Pressed the wrong one? Tap Undo last grade.Keyboard shortcuts

Card states: New → Learning → Review → Mature
| State | What it means |
|---|---|
| New | Never studied. Up to your daily new-card limit enters each day. |
| Learning | Seen at least once but not yet graduated. Reviews happen in minutes (your learning steps). |
| Review | Graduated. Reviews scheduled in days. Each Good rating multiplies the interval by your ease factor (~2.5×). |
| Mature | Interval ≥ 21 days. You've shown strong long-term retention of this card. |
Ease factor & intervals
Every card has an ease factor (starts at 2.5). It's the multiplier applied to the interval each time you press Good.
Example: interval 4 days → Good → 4 × 2.5 = 10 days → Good again → 10 × 2.5 = 25 days. Reviewing late gives partial credit for the extra time, and longer intervals get a small random spread so cards added together don't all come back on the same day.
Pressing Hard lowers ease (−0.15). Pressing Again lowers it more (−0.20). Pressing Easy raises it (+0.15). Ease can't go below 1.3 — that's the floor so cards never get stuck repeating daily.
The small label under each button shows the interval you'd get if you pressed it right now.

Suspended cards & leeches
A suspended card stays in your collection but never shows up for study. A leech is a card you keep forgetting; after the number of lapses set above it is suspended automatically so you can rewrite it. Find both under Cards → status filter.
Recall accuracy
Shown as a percentage for today. It counts any rating above Again (Hard / Good / Easy) as a successful recall. A healthy target is 85–90 % — lower means cards are too hard; higher might mean you're rating too generously.
Decks & modules
Deck — the course or subject (e.g. "Simulations"). Set it in the Deck field before adding or bulk-importing.
Module — a sub-label within a deck (e.g. "Module 1 – Intro to RVs"). Add it as the third column in bulk import:

front | back | Module 1. It shows as a purple tag on every card so you always know where the material comes from.
